Machinesmith (Starr Saxon) of Skeleton Crew

Super engineer Starr Saxon made robots then became one himself.  He was also the second Mister Fear.  Minor Daredevil villain but cool story.

Notable from "Wikipedia" Barry Windsor-Smith has stated that back in Daredevil #50, Saxon was supposed to be presented as gay; however, he admits that his early art wasn't good enough to get the point across.[1] Other issues have since revealed his sexuality more directly, such as Captain America #368 and Iron Man #320.

Skeleton Crew Kicks Off.....Now!

A New Year, a new minor super villain group!  Young Dev dug this up and it has been fun researching.  This is a quick kick-off to a multiple part series we will do for the Skeleton Crew. Originally the crew was Crossbones, Voice, Sleeper, Machinesmith, Mother Night and Minister Blood.  We will not hit all of the characters they eventually had but will cover the minor favorites.

Baron Karza is Powerful.....and a toy from the 70's.

Marvel and the Micronauts put together a heck of a villain that was not so weak.  It was eye opening researching this one and seeing how the Micronauts comic put a story to the coolest toy line of the 70's.

Here are the images of the costumes and toys we reference:

Marvel's Psycho Man

This is a simply named fella premiered in the 60's from Marvel but very cool  Perhaps Lee and Kirby had a golf date and didn't have the whole afternoon to think up a better name.  That is sarcasm, because golf has a lot of down time and can be boring and would be a good place to discuss character names. Interestingly, he is not really named after his personality.....but YOURS!!!

Listen to learn and to hear us go off on Psycho Woman.
